Do you feel like an outcast? Do people treat you like trash? Do you feel like you are a doormat that people wipe their feet on? I have news for you. God doesn't look at you and see you as trash. When God looks at you it is with love. He sees you for what you can be. No matter how you feel about yourself, the truth is that God loves you. You can't stop him from loving you and you can't make him love you more. You may say to me, "Yea Hannah, maybe other people, but not me. You don't know all the bad things I have done. My life is trash." Let me tell you the story of the sinful woman.. "One of the Pharisees (religious leaders) invited Jesus to have dinner with him. So he went to the Pharisee's house. He took his place at the table. There was a woman in that town who had lived a sinful life. She learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house. So she came with a special sealed jar of perfume. She stood behind Jesus and cried at his feet. She began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair. She kissed them and poured perfume on them. The Pharisee who had invited Jesus saw this. He said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him. He would know what kind of woman she is. She is a sinner." Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you." "Tell me teacher," He said. Jesus said, "Two people owed money to a certain lender. One owed him 500 silver coins. The other owed him 50 silver coins. Neither of them had the money to pay him back. So he let them go without payment. Which one of them will love him more?"Simon answered, "I suppose the one who owed the most money." "You are right," Jesus said......."So I tell you this. Her many sins have been forgiven. She has loved a lot. But the one who has been forgiven little loves little." Luke 7:36-43 and 47. God offers you forgiveness. He can make your life brand new and you can become his princess.

Love Lifted Me

There is an old hymn that I love. Here are some of the words:

I was sinking deep in sin. Far from the peaceful shore. Very deeply stained within. Sinking to rise no more. But the master of the sea, heard my despairing cry. From the waters lifted me, now safe am I. Love lifted me, love lifted me. When nothing else could help, love lifted me. Love lifted me, love lifted me. When nothing else could help, love lifted me.....All my heart to him I'll give. Ever to him I'll cling. In his blessed presence live. Ever his praises sing. Love so mighty and so true.........

The writer of this song was comparing his life to a ship. He was sinking, about to be destroyed. Then Jesus saved him and he was free! That song brings me joy to know that I am free. You can be to.

Jesus and the Lady

Do you ever feel like you have done so many bad things that God can never forgive you? There was once a lady who felt just like you. She was brought before Jesus by a mob of people who hated her. This lady had been caught in the act of adultery. She was basically cheating on her husband and this wasn't the first time. The religious leaders threw the lady at Jesus's feet and exclaimed, "This lady was caught in the very act of adultery!" Jesus looked at the lady, who lay trembling at his feet, then he looked at the crowd. Stones were in their hands. (It was the law that anyone who was unfaithful to their spouse was stoned to death.) The lady was sure Jesus would say, "Yes, go ahead and stone her!" But he didn't. He said simply, "Whoever is without sin may cast the first stone." Then the bible says, they all left starting from the eldest to the youngest. When the lady looked up everyone was gone. Jesus said to her, "Where are they now that have condemned you?" The lady answered, "They have all left, Lord." Jesus said, "Then neither do I condemn you. But go and sin no more." Maybe you feel condemned right now and you wish you could start all over on a clean slate. The bible says, "If we confess our sins He, (God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God can give you a new heart. All you have to do is ask. Remember, Jesus doesn't condemn you but he tells us, "Go and sin no more."
